Description and Requirements
The RTR Accounting Manager will report directly to the COE RTR Global Process Manager. The role need support RTR GPM tower lead to keep track RTR initiatives under COE RTR and responsible for accounting process enhancement, risk identification, policy review, and related project supports.
Daily activities need to be performed by the role including:
- Accounting process management role including operational accounting performance governance, key RTR process documentation, standardization, compliance review, risk identification etc.
- support the team to keep their timelines on track, monitor the evolution of the projects through milestones and produce all levels of reporting to relevant stakeholders.
- Responsible for liaising with various stakeholders within the organization and building relevant expertise in cutting edge technology for automation, and drive execution programs across different groups.
- Support audit with demand.
Position Requirements:
10 years above of experience in one or a combination of the following: management consulting, finance, accounting, FP&A, treasury, analytics or reporting
Previous experience working with technology that enables finance function, preferably SAP ECC and SAP S/4 Hana
Experience in implementation of SAP modules and rollout projects.
Problem solving skills, pro-active, creativity and can-do attitude
The ability to apply skills and knowledge to a range of problems and issues.
Ability to perform troubleshooting role and implement solutions quickly
Demonstrated project management & project governance ability, preferably in finance transformation
Previous exposure/experience to/in global or regional finance shared services
Possess a deep knowledge and strong understanding of the overall finance function operations and business process re-engineering. Preferably, in Record-to-report (RTR).
Leadership skills and ability to multitask within a fast paced & dynamic workplace
Strong communication skills including extensive experience dealing with various stakeholders
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong customer focus and the ability to build relationships internally and externally.
Ability to work as part of a cross-cultural team incl. flexibility to support multiple time zones
Demonstrate characteristics of a forward thinker and self-motivator that thrives on new challenges and adapts quickly to learning new knowledge
A degree in business, finance, accounting or a related field
Fluency in Mandarin and English is a must
