Role and Responsibilities

Lenovo Manufacturing Engineering Team is looking for a Manufacturing Engineer, a professional that can support the manufacturing line of ISG products. Position Requirements Bachelor’s degree in IT related field, Industrial Engineering or Manufacturing Engineering, solid knowledge in BOM control and product manufacturing support. Knowledge of Hardware (Computer Architecture – x86 Servers) is a plus. Fluent/Advanced in English to report problems and shared inputs in our global and multinational team. Problem-solving skills and proactive attitude is a must to have.

The Manufacturing Engineer duties and skills required are listed below:

  • Engineering Change Process
  • Provide technical support over systems used in the manufacturing and business requirements; assist the higher level engineer
  • Open and follow up defect  tickets that impact fulfillment either for platform or product issues
  • Solve assigned/or basic  problems according to existing processes
  • Implement and interface with various teams for assigned refresh projects
  • Suggest continuous improvements of process and work initiatives
  • Documents own work
  • Fluent on English, oral and write. Required.
  • Experience with manufacturing processes preferred
  • Root cause analysis & problem resolution skills required
  • Able to apply engineering concepts
  • Candidate must be pro-active and highly self-motivated
  • Effective Communicator
  • Lean manufacturing/ 6 sigma knowledge.
  • Project administration.
  • SAP (preferred), MySQL, Excel (required)
  • High-Pressure Tolerance.
  • Flexibility in working hours
