Description and Requirements

Lenovo ISG is seeking BIOS engineers for next generation server products. You will work closely with internal teams and be responsible for all UEFI/BIOS related works during the planning, development, and validation phases of the server product development. Responsibilities (but not limited as list):

  • Responsible for x86 server UEFI/BIOS development, including feature development and bug fixing.
  • Working with internal team to design new product features into next generation. 
  • Working with internal team and end-customers to understand customer’s requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelors or higher degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or similar field.
  • Expertise with Intel and/or AMD x86 system architectures, including processor and chipsets.
  • 8+ years’ experience in BIOS/UEFI development.
  • Familiarity with Server BIOS development is highly preference.
  • Good understanding of UEFI architecture and EDK. Strong C coding skills and experience.
  • Good knowledge of industry standards, such as BMC, IPMI, PCI/PCIe, USB, I2C, SPD, SMBIOS, ACPI and etc.
  • Experience with Intel ITP or other HW tools to debug complex system firmware issues.
  • Well organized, with good written and oral communication skills in both Chinese and English.
