Description and Requirements

  • Collaborate with sourcing, engineering & other stake holders to build and continuously optimize supplier/component selection/reuse strategy and component life cycle management process
  • Build & manage the automotive component database
  • Deeply involve in components selection & risk analysis through development cycle for better quality, performance and cost
  • Minimize supply chain risks with better supply diversity, strategy supplier engagement, multiple source management and other required means
  • Work closely with engineering & purchasing teams to qualify alternative components for existing product
  • Support Quote team to optimize BOM cost to enhance the price competitiveness
