Role description
ThinkReality is Lenovo’s end-to-end, platform-based commercial AR/VR offering. ThinkReality combines enterprise grade AR and VR devices, robust and scalable software, and a broad range of professional services – all of which enable Lenovo’s enterprise customers to deploy AR/VR solutions at scale. The ThinkReality software team is looking for a product manager to lead AR/VR Solutions PC. As part of the solutions team, your role will be to identify, build, and own best-in-class AR/VR solutions and bring them to market. This includes working with internal software and product teams to ensure cohesion with the broader ThinkReality offering, as well as with external partners in collaboration. This role primarily, though not exclusively, involves AR/VR solutions for Lenovo’s PC-powered AR/VR devices and spans verticals ranging from AEC, education, healthcare, and more.
Responsibilities
- Lead the vision, strategy, development, and launch of innovative AR/VR solutions that are part of the ThinkReality offering
- Be a customer advocate – work with customer teams to deeply understand needs and requirements, and work to incorporate those into the product roadmap
- Work cross-functionally with product marketing, hardware, partnerships, and other internal teams to bring solutions to market
- Integrate market analysis, research, and usability studies into product requirements
- Define and analyze metrics that inform the success of products
- Assess market trends, competitive landscape, and partnership opportunities to strategically decide on focus areas based on best opportunities for Lenovo and ThinkReality
- Work closely with engineering, UX, as well as other product teams to intimately own and steer product roadmap and direction, providing guidance through clearly defined initiatives, user flows and stories – prioritizing and deciding tradeoffs where necessary
Minimum qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- 3+ years product management experience
- 1+ years of experience delivering AR/VR solutions to enterprise and commercial customers
Preferred qualifications
- Deep knowledge and understanding of the competitive AR/VR landscape
- Ability to operate independently without requiring many directions
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Experience defining vision and strategy for technical products
