Description and Requirements
The Profit Program Manager (PPM) is responsible for driving and implementing an efficient and consistent Complex BID and Profit Management system, analyzing the overall combined Profitability, drive more profit to the Enterprise & Public Sector (EPS) Business across EMEA, as well as responsibility for Coordinating Profit Management of Mega Deals and Very Large Deals in EMEA.
The PPM, will report to the EMEA E&PS Leader and will have close interlock with the Markets Profit Managers, Product BU, EMEA Sales Ops Manager as well as GSC, Finance and EMEA CFO.
Your detailed responsibilities are:
- Define clear and consistent Large Bid Management process cross all EMEA including tracking
- Define actions/programs how to drive more profit and also ensure the Market sales teams are aware of any upselling opportunities and potential cost savings (Intel/AMD bid funding, sea shipments, etc.).
- Analyze the financial figures on a regular basis and perform reviews to highlight low GP level accounts and to identify areas of improvement
- Conduct/participate in Price analytics
- Work very closely with the Markets EPS Managers, Market Profit Manager, Product BU’s and pricing team
- Lead the Commercial / financial proposal for all MEGA deals within Enterprise and Public Sector EMEA, together with Market Profit Manager
- Work alongside sales teams for Very Large (+10K) and MEGA deals (+50K) to ensure that the optimum solution for Lenovo and the Customer is provided to ensure compliancy and maximization of profitability
- Initiate quarterly account reviews on TOP Accounts to optimize pricing/configurations, with the objective of maximizing revenue, margin and customer experience whilst ensuring compliance to contractual commitments
- Ensure appropriate Pricing Methodology is selected for each opportunity through a detailed review of Customer Tender documents and / or opportunity qualification with Sales teams.
- Review product offering with both Sales and Product Managers to ensure Lenovo has a compliant offering whilst maximizing profit through an understanding of component cost environment and future cost projections.
- Ensure due diligence around price point setting – price to market and not price to margin
Position Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelor, preferred Master Degree Business Administration, Computer Science or equivalent
- At least 4 years previous experience in corporate finance, specifically in Pricing or Profit Management with IT products and Services. Preferable is also experience in IT Sales on end-user or channel business.
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
- Entrepreneurship and with a high degree of self-motivation and drive
- Proficiency in Excel, and other office applications
- Strong analytical skills and detail oriented
- Fluent in English

Information for Slovakia only: Base gross monthly salary from minimum 2 350 EUR and above, depending on experience + variable part 12% of your annual earnings.
