Description and Requirements

Would you like to join us as an accounting & finance professional and become a part of the Global Accounting & Finance Intelligence Management team?

This role will involve regular communication with the Director of Finance and the Services Leadership Team to ensure the integrity of the accounting for all aspects of the new business within EaaS, Emerging & Incubation Business; Device as a Service (DaaS), Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Cloud & Software Services, Smart Solutions, New Products & Service and Software as a Service (SaaS). This will also involve partnering with the Global business on strategic planning for the roll out of DaaS, SaaS, EaaS & Complex Solutions across geographies.

You will report to the Director of Finance based in Hong Kong.

What will be your responsibilities? 

Key technical accounting focal for Services Led Transformation Projects by designing standardized business frameworks that maximize business results & support Services Hyper-growth
EaaS technical accounting guidance to ensure compliance with accounting principles, highlighting & documenting accounting risk for informed Business decision making, problem solving to build & implement operational accounting solutions to achieve desired business outcomes.
Assist the business in structuring Global Services Offerings and Managed Services deals, analyze contracts & agreements for accounting, and manage work across global accounting teams
Advise business on accounting implications for key strategic software deals and the development of new complex solutions and services 
Partner with DaaS Business & Sales Solution Architects in role of design architect to solution and problem solve accounting & finance scenarios ahead of deal go live

Partner with the accounting practice team to create and implement accounting policy and processes to respond proactively to support the strategic direction of the Business.  It will include the creation and maintenance of a “Blueprint” accounting entry catalog for each of the service offering & leasing structures. Standardization of the policy at a Global Level to enhance reporting visibility & mitigate compliance risk for a number of SME topics.

Partnering with internal financial services to agree processes with external funding partners. Business partnering with internal tax teams in various geographies to understand any specific in country tax legislation that may add additional complexities and design a solution to ensure sales can continue to be pursued.
Creation of services & solutions related playbooks to provide the Business & LBS with a frame of reference for non-rule based complex accounting topics which are subject to judgement & due diligence decision
Remote management of a diverse team across various geographies and locations.

Excellent communication skills
Accounting qualification 
Strong project management skills
Strong commercial accounting background & technical accounting background
Knowledge of tax & transfer pricing would also be an advantage 
Good accounting investigation and analytical skills 
Good IT skills, knowledge of SAP system advantageous
