What You'll Do:

This role is a senior procurement commodity position with responsibilities including:

• Drive cross functional projects
• Subject matter expert and transition strategy
• Support the Think Notebook Segment, including communication and alignment on Intel and industry strategy as well as on going supply and cost support
• Work with suppliers, alliance, geo, finance, and cost teams to drive continuous cost and supply improvements
• Drive continuous processes improvement in respective area.
• Need to analyze very complex situations, anticipate and solve potential problems including the knowledge of future industrial trends
• Meet Finance cost savings targets and reconcile cost issues within internal and external teams

Position Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience
• Strong negotiating skills
• Very strong communication skills with both internal customers and external vendors
• Ability to effectively communicate and present to executive management team
• Must be able to use and maintain planning and cost systems

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree
• High tech industry experience
