Join our HPC team in UK to help solving humanity's greatest challenges as Senior HPC Architect / Technical Sales Specialist!
Working as Senior HPC Architect you will build and nurture relationships with technical stakeholders and decision makers of key clients to advance their HPC infrastructure solution to become even more powerful, while becoming more energy-efficient and sustainable at the same time.
Our team of Lenovo HPC experts will provide you with training on our solution portfolio, essentials tools and processes, and help you to develop your skills on technical HPC solution design. You are part of the UKI HPC team, reporting the HPC Director for UK, Ireland DACH, and France.
What else is waiting for you in this role?
• You are responsible for a set of clients and transactions, where you will be the owner of the technical sales cycle, from acquisition to closing. This includes solution consulting and selection, to technical solution design according to customer requirements.
• You work closely with the Lenovo HPC sellers to jointly design & bid winning projects.
• You work closely with the extended Lenovo sales & technical teams e.g., account managers and services specialists to achieve common revenue and profit goals.
• You actively participate in weekly team meetings for best practice sharing.
• You are flexible with working from home or from the office, as well as travelling to see clients, partners, and colleagues in person.
What do we expect from you?
• Previous client-facing technical sales experience (3 or more years)
• Previous technical HPC experience (3 years or more)
• Customer-oriented and independent way of working
• Strong skills in prioritization and structuring your own work including complex engagements
• Good knowledge of MS Office
• Motivated and interested in technical sales and the IT industry
• Fluent English, both spoken and written (French and German in addition would be considered an advantage, but are not a requirement)
