We are currently looking for an HR Partner (m/f/d) in our local HR team responsible for Germany, Austria and Switzerland. In this role, you will have full generalist HR responsibilities and partner effectively with the business leaders based on your strong business acumen. You will also be a culture custodian to exemplify our culture and ways of working. This role results from a series of internal development opportunities of our HR colleagues. For the moment, the contract is limited to 18 months.
Reporting directly to the DACH HR Leader, you will execute key HR strategies, provide operational HR excellence and make a difference in the following areas:
Your responsibilities:
- Build trusted relationships with the local management team to support their organizational needs based on an understanding of Lenovo’s strategy, objectives and priorities
- Independently manage the full HR employee life-cycle: Support the business to implement their people plans for recruitment, development, performance management, succession planning, etc.
- Help develop and grow employees by participating in the people/career planning process
- Support the communication and roll-out of global HR programs
- Participate in the development and implementation of country-specific programs and strategies, processes and policies aligned to local needs
- Act as a change agent to support Lenovo’s services led transformation
- Analyse HR metrics and drive data-based decision making
- Act as an ambassador for the Lenovo Culture around our common set of values that guide us how we work, treat others and are treated
- Closely interact with the German & Austrian workers council and other HR functions like Payroll, Compensation & Benefits, our HR Service Centre and the EMEA HR team
The position includes a multitude of tasks in the HR lifecycle, and thus has a portion of operational work associated with it (for example, recruitment process management in Avature or Workday management).
The requirement to travel is limited (<10%).
This is full-time position based either in Stuttgart, Germany or Vienna, Austria.
Knowledge, skills & experience required
- You like to make a difference in your day-to-day work and are passionate about what you do.
- You have strong communication skills at different levels of the organization.
- You have demonstrated strong coaching skills in complex business and people related matters.
- You are solutions and service oriented as well as flexible.
- You are a superb team player who likes to involve yourself actively in the organization and our local HR team
- You are used to resolving issues independently and are very strong in structuring your work to manage a variety of tasks.
- You have strong German and English skills, both in speaking and writing. Communicating in English will be part of your day-to-day job.
- You have completed a university degree preferably within HR Management, Psychology or Business Administration.
- You have already gained about 4 years of experience as an HR Partner in another organization.
- Comprehensive understanding and experience of labour law in Germany & Austria is a plus
