Description and Requirements

[Job Title] Hardware Test Engineer

Reports To: Hardware Manager

Job Overview: take part in ADAS /Autonomous Driving/ Smart Cockpit compute projects hardware design review, lead & execute related board-level testing work

 Responsibilities and Duties:

 List the essential duties required to carry out this job.

  • Take part in schematic & layout design review of ADAS/AD/eCockpit controllers, together with designers
  • Work together with hardware design engineers to draft hardware test spec & test plan
  • Execute PCBA level hardware test items, generate test report and provide feedback to hardware design optimization
  • Take part in hardware test related process, template and check list drafting

Qualifications:

  • Major in Electrical Engineering, computer science, Automation or equivalent discipline, with 3+ years hardware testing experience
  • Automotive/Communication/Smart Phone/Computer electronics product background
  • Being able to read schematics and layout files
  • Familiar with circuit testing methods and related equipment, e.g. scope, multi-meter, SMU, signal generator, network analyzer, logic analyzer
  • Familiar with PCBA level signal test, such as DDR, PCIE, USB, Audio, IIC, SPI, CAN, FPDLink, GMSL and power circuits
  • Lab maintenance and management experience is preferred
  • Good at using soldering station
  • Good at Office tools
  • Good collaboration and communication skills
