We are seeking an experienced XaaS Salesperson for our Lenovo Infrastructure Solution Group (ISG) offerings. The XaaS Salesperson will closely work with Lenovo product and service sales representatives on Lenovo’s largest and most complex global customers and partners, on local and global level. The aim is to maximize XaaS sales, which is based on Lenovo’s TruScale solution.
In this role the XaaS Salesperson will be part of Lenovo EMEA Solutions & Services Group (SSG) and Infrastructure Solutions Group (ISG) sales organization and will report into the EMEA SSG-ISG OneServices Sales director. This is a client facing sales role requiring deep industry experience, the ability to identify, cultivate, and close new business, and expertise working large deals at the C level.
You as the XaaS Salesperson will be responsible for managing and expanding the sales relationships across sellers of all Lenovo business units by early engagement from the level of a lead till opportunity closing. Proven experience in consultative selling of subscription service offerings is required, as well as knowledge of XaaS application offerings by vertical market and Cloud infrastructure, like Software Defined Infrastructure (SDI).
Your key responsibilities will include the following:
- Lead TruScale sales in UK
- Proactively identify and qualify TruScale opportunities by the means of consultative selling approach and clearly articulate the value proposition of consumption-based, subscription offering
- Build incremental opportunity pipeline through proactive engagement with Lenovo ISG account managers, with focus on Global Accounts and ENT customers as well as Lenovo Channel Partners like MSPs, SIs, Distribution Partners
- Actively manage Lenovo TruScale pipeline in UK, supporting Lenovo service business planning, and reporting cycles
- Close Lenovo TruScale deals
- Work to a quota & sales plan and forecast signings, bookings, and revenue in line with both
- Provide status information to your manager including forecast/pipeline information
- Provide product feedback back to TruScale product management
- Enable yourself as a key resource for Lenovo’s SDI and lifecycle services portfolio
What you’ll bring / Position Requirements:
- 7+ years of customer facing sales and business development experience in cloud business
- Track record of successfully closed XaaS deals in the past 2-3 years
- Extensive consultative selling experience
- Extensive and applied finance knowledge and experience within XaaS offerings
- Excellent interpersonal and communications skills – CXO level savvy
- Strong understanding of services-oriented subscription business economics
- Knowledge of cloud products and solutions
- CXO presence and acumen
- Possesses executive relationships in global accounts and enterprise accounts
- History of setting and exceeding individual goals
- Capability to thrive with a new product in an undefined market
- Demonstrated track record of performance with global accounts
- Ability to manage multiple complex sales engagements
- Persistence, high energy, high performer
- Strong service, financial and legal acumen
- Be innovative, creative, and bold
- Fluent in English language
- Travel to any or all customer sites when appropriate
