Description and Requirements
Lead Strategic programs and initiatives, in support of the senior leadership team of the International Support Services Organization (Solutions and Services Group, SSG). You will work hand-in-hand with the Head of Strategy & Operations and other Senior Leadership of ISS Organization, SSG Strategy team to drive Transformation, Lead Innovation by leveraging Technology, bringing Industry best Practices and Models in Service deliver to make Lenovo best in Class on Customer Experience while continue to do deliver best in Class Services Cost Structure. You will create common operational frameworks, governance models, bring Market Intelligence to create benchmarks in Services with the Industry and interlocked strategies across the business Groups within ISS . You will be responsible for achieving results through cross-functional program management and strong relationships.
The ideal candidate is a proven Program Director who is passionate working with product and operations teams to scale new businesses and enable data-driven decision making. You must be a highly motivated self-starter with a vision for market leadership in Services. You have demonstrated the ability to drive change and thrive in a matrixed organization. You are remarkably organized and have unbeatable project management skills. You are an excellent written and oral communicator who will create and deliver executive communication and presentation materials. As the Strategy & Operations Program Director for ISS, you will have a meaningful impact on Lenovo by executing the company vision of “Smarter Technology for All” by becoming a services-led company. You will lead initiatives and execute programs aligned to Lenovo’s “3S” strategy of delivering Smart IoT, Smart Infrastructure, and Smart Verticals. You will ensure strong customer outcomes by working across business units as One Lenovo, anchored in Solutions and Services excellence.
Position Requirements: Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in an applied STEM field
• 10+ years of Business Operations & Market Intelligence experience
• Experience with Services business lines (especially in hardware- or product-based companies)
• Experience working in a global company or with globally dispersed stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications:
• English and Chinese fluency will ensure the candidate is best positioned for success in this role
• Experience as a Chief Operating Officer
• MBA or 3+ years of Corporate Strategy or Consulting experience
• Experience supporting Services Organization with Strong understanding of Technological Developments and Industry Trends
• Experience at a Fortune 500 firm as well as technology start-up environment
