Team Overview

This is a friendly and dynamic team of about a dozen researchers and engineers with very diverse background and strong technical expertise. We incorporate converging technologies into both existing and new products that take us beyond today’s most advanced products: smartphones, tablets, PCs, and other electronic devices. We perform research and system integration of software and hardware to deliver exciting products utilizing artificial intelligence, computer vision, natural language processing, context awareness, connectivity, authentication & security, as well as other relevant research areas.

What You’ll Do
You will join the Mobile Technology Innovation team in Lenovo Research, an advanced research and technology group within Lenovo. You will be working with a group of experienced colleagues on one or more of the current research projects. You will participate in regular team meetings, brainstorming sessions, team building events, and other company activities. You will have opportunities to contribute to the business by solving actual technical problems with innovative idea, try out your idea by writing code and testing your code, file patent applications, and make technical presentations.

Job Responsibilities

• Evaluate image and video quality of camera projects.
• Track camera tuning issues and IQ/VQ regression.
• Design objective/subjective quality metrics and test methodology.
• Develop automated IQ/VQ evaluation methodology and infrastructure.
• Develop numerical metrics correlated to human perceptual IQ/VQ quality.
