Lenovo's Infrastructure Solutions Group (ISG) provides Edge-to-Cloud IT solutions and services for organizations at any scale. We empower our customers to dramatically accelerate their digital transformation, improve their industries, and solve humanity’s greatest challenges. We provide reliable infrastructure and support with Smarter Infrastructure Solutions, Cloud Computing, Analytics and AI/ML, As-A-Service, Edge Computing, and more.

What You’ll Do:

As a Junior Technical Product Manager you are responsible for creating the next generation of hybrid and multi cloud solutions leveraging Lenovo ThinkAgile Software Defined Infrastructure products. You will work with technology partners like VMware, Nutanix, Microsoft Azure, Red Hat to integrate and showcase joint solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Work with customers to understand their business problems and technical challenges and translate them into technical requirements
  • Collaborate with stakeholders from Lenovo and technology partners on design, creation and positioning for Software Defined Infrastructure products and hybrid cloud solutions
  • Author strategy docs, blogs, white papers, market research and vision documents
  • Integrate Lenovo and partner technologies to solve customer use cases
  • Showcase the business value and differentiation of hybrid cloud solutions to Lenovo customers and sales channels

Basic Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience working in enterprise product or solution development/integration
  • Quick learner with an interest in building edge-to-cloud hybrid cloud solutions
  • Hands-on technical skills in one or more Hybrid cloud technologies
  • Experience contributing to the product lifecycle process
  • Experience in evaluating hybrid cloud products and solutions to determine strengths and areas for improvement
  • Experience integrating technologies to build a solution and present/demo to customers and internal technical stakeholders
  • Ability to showcase product/solution value proposition, differentiation and handle customer questions with poise
  • Ability to set priorities and resolve issues independently
  • Bachelor degree in computer science/engineering
  • Prior product management experience is NOT a requirement. Must be willing to learn and grow into a product management role.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced education level (Masters or MBA) or 3+ years experience
  • 2+ years of experience working with product managers
  • 2+ years of product or solution engineering experience
  • Public cloud experience (AWS, Azure, GCP or IBM cloud)
