Description and Requirements

Lenovo is expanding our AI team to lead the Intelligence Transformation by making Artificial Intelligence (AI) solutions accessible for all and deploy from the largest supercomputer customers in the world, to enterprises just getting started on their Transformation journey. To achieve our mission, we are seeking a results-oriented and innovative Data Analyst to help us execute on our mission. 

 

This high impact role requires a good understanding of the AI technology ranging from hardware to software, but most importantly, be able to translate AI technology capabilities into business outcomes for key vertical industries including retail, manufacturing and healthcare. The right candidate for this newly created role will be responsible assisting our Sr. Data Scientist with customer projects, proof of technology, AI software testing and benchmarking.  

 

Responsibilities:

·        Support customer and partner projects including proof of technology or proof of concept projects 

·        Support training workshops for customers 

·        Support AI workload performance benchmarking as needed 

·        Data wrangling and data preparation  

·        Model development and validation  

 

Qualifications:

 

·        Bachelor’s degree in data analytics, computer science or comparable degree

·        Master’s degree in data analytics or data science is strongly preferred 

·        A strong understanding of data science techniques and tools ranging from ML to DL, including but not limited to:  

o   common NN Models - ResNET50, Yolo V3, etc 

o   programming languages including Python, R, C++ and CUDA 

o   traditional ML tools such as MatLab 

o   frameworks such as Tensorflow and Caffe  

·        Some experience with visualization tools such as PowerBI or Tableau 

·        Nice to have: Some knowledge of the underlying infrastructure that powers AI workloads such as NVIDIA GPUs and accelerators 

·        A strong curiosity for how AI systems work and solve real business challenges
