Description and Requirements


The Lenovo Solution team is seeking a highly motivated candidate with technical knowledge of software architecture and application frameworks. The candidate will be a member of a global team performing qualification, test & validation on Hyperconverged appliances based on general-purpose x86 servers.


In this position you should:

  • Be familiar with Linux/Unix and Linux networking
  • Have knowledge of Datacenter Hypervisors and Cluster Managers
  • Develop Python Modules and APIs  
  • Shape and maintain automation development environment (Python libs, Servers, Virtual Machines, Databases)
  • Follow a continuous “everything” approach (development, testing integration, and deployment)
  • Have experience with virtualization solutions
  • Have a good knowledge of Python programming and of SQL 
  • Have a base of computer architecture knowledge (memory hierarchy, processors, GPUs, etc.)
  • Be familiar with application performance/optimization/diagnosis
  • Have hardware and storage configuration experience

Apply if you have:

  • Self-motivation and if you are able to complete individual tasks once training is completed
  • Strong teamwork is essential


Would be a plus:

  • Frontend Development experience
  • Scripting
  • Experience with BMC / IPMI
  • Nutanix experience

In this position, you will be part of a global team and will be reporting to the local ISG Next Gen Solutions Development Manager.
