Description and Requirements

Detail-oriented industrial engineer to monitor EMS partner operations and determine more efficient production processes. The industrial engineer's responsibilities include analyzing operations, designing workflows and production processes, reducing inefficiency, and ensuring that final products meet the established quality standards. Maximize productivity, reduce wastefulness and production issues, Drive cost improvement initiatives.

  • Reviewing futuristic demands and do the detailed capacity analysis, initiate necessary actions and drive EMS partner to meet the required capacity.
  • Review new product processes, specifications, and related information for the layout changes .
  • Designing production processes that maximize efficiency and reduce waste improve OEE.
  • Developing and implementing process improvements and technological upgrades.
  • Layout design & Infrastructural requirements to meet the Product and process requirements
  • Drive and support end to end mobile phone manufacturing process (SMT/Assembly)
  • Expert in Asset management , Budget planning and hands on experience  in CAPEX , Opex.
  • Knowledge on Process equipment & fixtures (SMT Machines- Mounter, Printer, AOI, Reflow, Assemble Machines - Glue dispense, Auto Screwing, Plasma cleaning and Pressing machines, clean room)
  • Expertise on Time Study, Line balancing, Lean Practices and Value add calculations.
  • Estimate the line capacity UPH , and operator requirements
  • Can be able to translate data into actionable insights, strategies, and plan.
  • Maintain the declared process and equipment specification by doing frequent line audit. Drive EMS partner to close audit action items.
  • Optimize process cycle time and ensure line capacity based on volume forecast.
  • Coordinate with internal and EMS partner to maintain Capex and Opex. budgets. Manage Asset details and audits reports.
  • Local vendor development and fixture localization.
