Description and Requirements
The Marketing Manager leads the successful creation and execution of marketing strategy planning to align local operation with business goals and objectives. This role is the owner of the marketing processes (mix of brand, product launch, demand activities, partner activities/programs) to ensure the best return for the marketing investment in both short and long term. Understands significant trends in marketing and where and how those should be adopted to help achieve marketing goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the Marketing and Communications department for Colombia, coordinating all marketing ATL and BTL; advertising, public relations, events, trade marketing, events, digital and social media programs.
Key focal point to senior internal stakeholders to ensure tight alignment with strategic and commercial objectives.
Manage and control the country marketing budget with a strong business sense in what areas to invest on to support the business.
Drive local PR to maximize company exposure and share of voice.
Develops and implement marketing plans to continue to build the Lenovo Brand and sub brands, as well as a supporting platform to business needs.
Lead, manage and control of external marketing and communications agencies.
As functional expert in all marketing related areas, provide value add to both commercial and consumer business stakeholders.
Monitor, review and report on all marketing activity and results. Learn from the past.
Efficiently leveraging resources from external partners to increase effectiveness
Identify and suggest opportunities for quality and cost improvements with external partners
Provide management overview of ROI in marketing activities.
Requirements:
Business or marketing-related degree or equivalent professional qualification.
Over 7 years of relevant experience in leading successful Marketing teams driving business results (must)
Consumer (B2C) and Commercial (B2B) Marketing expertise, as well as drive thru channels marketing communications (must)
Experience building integrated marketing campaigns and programs to drive sales results (must)
Relevant product and industry knowledge in the technology industry (ideal)
Experience with relevant software applications (Microsoft Office, Excel, Power Point, etc.)
