Description and Requirements

Responsibility:

1.End to End Demand Planning
a.Support the development of a quarterly and annual supply availably plans and reconcile them with demand plans. Proactively communicate gaps between these plans
b.Influence and collaborate with key partners to address input gaps as identified by historical forecast errors, seasonal volatility and other means.
c.Ensure that the demand forecast is shared/received in the format, level of detail and timing required by all customers and supply chain partners, with documented assumptions, to achieve the various business objectives.
d.Capture and analyse demand signals and translate them into forecast inputs coordinating with Geos 4P product & planning team and also supply chain partners.
e.Evaluate demand requirements and translate into product transitions, discontinuations, availability, demand shifts, promotions, events and competitive products.
2.Act as SSG Demand planning execution focal point
a.Shape and finalize demand planning deliverables through a collaborative, consensus-driven process that optimizes the balance between market opportunity and supply network capability.
b.Conduct periodically Reviews with cross functional teams to achieve CA (Shipment) maximization and Cx satisfaction through supply visibility and insights, demand shaping. Includes minimizing E&O and driving proactive opportunity to consume ATS and LTS supply
3.Responsibility over providing demand planning insights through timely reporting.  
Key deliverables:
a.Accurate Available to Sell (ATS) and Left to Sell (LTS) reporting
b.Excess & Obsolescence (E&O) minimization
c.Demand to supply shaping opportunities
d.P20 prioritization factory support
e.Timely availability of projection & outlook reports
f.Forecast Variance support

Requirements:
1.Proficiency using technology tools that enable demand planning and reporting.
2.Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into high-level analysis and demand planning.   
3.Knowledge of forecasting processes in sales, marketing operations and manufacturing.
4.Good Product knowledge
5.Supply chain/operations certification a plus, such as APICS, CPIM or lean. Project management (PMP) is also desirable
