◇Position Description◇
■About Organization 
- Report to : TBD (Head of Japan Marketing ISG; or  Head of Communications, AP ISG)
- Subordinates : 0
- Number of Peers : 1 IC, 2 contractors

■Roles and responsibilities
- Liaises and maintains strong relationships with the business leaders and acts as a conduit between the PR agency and the business.
- Identifies and capitalizes on opportunities to promote and positively represent the ISG organization through internal, executive, and external communication. 
- Manage and maintain exceptional relationships with business, tech, and trade media, as well as key industry analysts - becoming a great ISG advocate with these audiences
- Preparing written and verbal communication content materials for ISG in the press 
- Drafting and reviewing effective press notes, releases, case studies & articles for the press (along with PR agency)
- Pitching ISG/ spokesperson to the media for articles/interviews as well as speaking opportunities 
- Coordinating the activities of the PR agency
- Managing local POs and budget outlays
- Coordinating translation and interpreter requirements for communication activities 
- Preparing regular communication review reports and providing regular updates to marketing and the business.

◇Requirements◇
■Must Have – essential
【Experience】
- Person with at least 4-5 years’ experience in PR/Communications in B2B marketing

【Skill, Competency】
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Native communications in Japanese, business professional level in writing and reading
- Self-starter; with the ability for innovation and new ideas, making the leap from information to insight.

■Good to have - desirable
【Experience】
- Working experience on the agency side (where media relations and outreach plays a significant role)
- Experience in tech PR or as a corporate communications person for a multinational tech company

【Skill, Competency】
- Graduate/ master’s degree in communication/journalism or allied fields
- Experience in handling media events, roundtables and managing stakeholders in Japan
- Experience in managing internal, executive, and external communication requirements in Japan
