Description and Requirements

[Job Title] Sr. Program Manager 

Reports To: Operating Director 

Job Overview: Responsible to lead a team of program management to developing the organizational policies, and directing cross functional activities to deliver quality programs to external customers, with the overall focus to ensure customer satisfaction and retention in order to generate growth for the business. 

Responsibilities and Duties: 

  • Support the program team in the guidance of clients by developing strategic plans, goals, timelines, and measures of success for implementing company’s products and services. Act as the primary point of contact between the business and its clients. 

  • Ensure effective communication of strategy as required between cross functional teams to ensure project / product or service has a smooth and timely transition through all phases of documented development processes. 

  • Work with Management team regarding to coordination of team members to ensure key metrics are monitored per account and that customer satisfaction is closely monitored. 

  • Participate in and/or support major contract negotiations.  

  • Be responsible to drive, collaborate and steer business development activities to win replacement and growth business. 

  • Provide business proposal support and inputs for existing and new business. 

  • Monitor and support the program managers to get required resource to secure the program smooth launch. 

  • Implement appropriate HR strategies and actions to recruit and retain a qualified and motivated workforce. 

Qualifications: 

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Automotive, Mechanical, Electronics or a related field is required. A Master’s or MBA degree is preferred.  

  • Experience: Minimum of 10 years project management experience in Automotive or tiers, of which minimum of 3 years of team management experience is required. With experiences of automotive electronic products and process e.g. domain controller PCBA is plus. 

  • Specific skills: Excellent knowledge of APQP, PPAP and related tools Excellent organizational and communication skills. Excellent using of Microsoft Project.  

  • Language: Fluent in English is mandatory. 

  • Personal characteristics: Being meticulous, pro-active and relentless. Good learning skills and can-do attitude under pressure. Strong leadership qualities. 

  • Certifications: PMP certification is plus. 

  • Licenses. 

  • Physical abilities.
