Description and Requirements
The ISU data engineer is an individual contributor position in a growing team developing products in support of a new and exciting business. The data engineer is the overall data system owner, expected to work with the cross functional team to bring ISU related solution to market. The data engineer responsibilities include:
1. Product data creation and maintain (HW/SW/Service)
2. Solution data creation and maintain (across all biz verticals)
3. Product hierarchy, solution hierarchy creation and maintain (HW/SW/Service/Solution)
4. Data system & process newly setup and optimization
5. Define appropriate data structure & type per each product category and biz model (inhouse/3PO)
6.Working closely with ODT Leader and the cross functional team, track data system key dates to ensure product order window opens on target and in accordance with project plan.
7.Maintain data system tools and related documents to enhance data project management monitoring and make sure input are up to date and correct.
8.Identify key project data risks and ensure the risks are properly managed during development, qualify, launch phase.
9.Manage and correct data system issues and push downstream team to resolve issues with minimized impact or mitigation plan.
10.Lead & Landing new BTIT data related system into ISU biz; Be entrepreneurial to change process and be lean and efficient.
11.Maintain a customer-centric mindset and try to fulfill worldwide sales organization & finance reporting.
Position Requirements:
1.Bachelor Degree
2.5+ years or more of data development experience
3.Experience working in the PC,solution or related industry
4.Understanding data related IT system
5.Excellent written and spoken language skills in English
6.Knowledge of current Project Management methodologies.
7.Excellent interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
8.Strong computer skills with typical Office applications.
