To maintain our leadership and compete in this aggressive marketplace, we are seeking to enhance our team with a Power Electrical Engineer. Responsibilities include innovative design, development, review, and validation of power supply solutions such as AC/DC, DC/DC converters and power distribution for desktop workstations. These power solutions range from on-motherboard to external solutions.
For this role you will be working with a combination of HW/FW architects to formulate power solutions that provide optimal performance and efficiency while managing environmental, cost and design constraints.
Basic Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- 10+ years experience with hardware design of power supplies
- PC architecture power sleep states and power requirements
- Proficiency in engineering lab tools such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, simulated load generators, etc.
- Working experience with power supply component vendors and ODMs
- Results oriented in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to multi-task
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Excellent presentation skills
- Positive professional attitude with flexibility
Preferred Requirements:
- Master's Degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Working knowledge of Desktop Workstation power requirements
- Understanding of product development cycles from concept to volume production
