[Job Title] R&D Procurement

Reports To: Operation Manager

Job Overview: Be responsible for the purchase work during the engineering development phase to support the engineering team to get the suitable resource and material on time and on cost.

 Responsibilities and Duties:

• Be responsible for investigating, assessing and selecting new suppliers to meet requirements of business and engineering.
• Conduct the suppliers biding process from RFQ, suppliers comparison, price negotiation, supplier fix, contract signature, PO release, progress track and goods reception.
• Be responsible for purchasing materials (e.g. EE parts, Mech parts…) for sample builds, demo samples from key suppliers and support the engineering team to select engineering outsourcingsuppliers.
• Be responsible for purchasing design, test & engineering management tools and lab equipment
• Be responsible for improving the purchase process and rules to control the purchase quality and cost.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor or above degree with 5~8 years working experiences as Procurement role for development R&D organization, preferred to be in Automotive Electronics field
• Experience  of EE components (both active & passive parts), Mechanical parts (e.g. metal die-casting & stamping, plastic) procurement work is needed, and basic hardware & mechanical design knowledge is preferred.
• Experience of engineering activity (hardware, software & mechanical design and EMC & Reliability test) outsourcing procurement is needed
• Experience of design, test & engineering management tools and lab equipment is preferred
• Ability to work independently and think proactively in solving problems.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with team work spirit and strong negotiation skills and cost mindset.
• Good MS Office skills, such as Word, Excel, PPT, etc. SAP operation experience.
• Proficient English skill in oral and written. Passing English Band 6 is preferred
