Description and Requirements

About Our Team 

We are hiring a Senior Cost Manager to work in Lenovo’s Cloud Service Provider Group (CSP). CSP is a fast-paced customer-centric organization that adapts to changing market demands to serve customer needs. 

This is a new role that will support key CSP customers to drive cost optimization and build the cost structure and cost forecast in the product definition and development stage.

What You'll Do

• Develop the cost estimation and the cost balance sheet

• Identify cost optimization opportunities and drive design for cost initiatives

• Align cost structure and cost target with PMs, R&D and procurement team

• Cost control including building forecasts and reporting

• Taking part in the commercial bid and support contract pricing when required 

• Drive special cost support with vendors for high volume opportunities

• Involved with rebate claims and final cost settlements

• Participate in the ODT (Offering Development Team) committee and closely communicate, coordinate, and align with cross-functional teams

Basic Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain or Engineering related field with 7+ years’ experience in cost management or Bachelor’s Degree in Business/Accounting with 7+ years Supply Chain or Engineering industry related experience

• Prior experience balancing customer expectations and working with global cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in the Cloud Service Provider market or data center industry

• Strong Excel and problem-solving skills

• Project Management experience
