Job Description:
Responsible for Lenovo word-wide PC products definition, planning and management to fulfill customer value and achieve market/finance target for both short term and long term.
1. Understand company/department/portfolio strategy and business target which portfolio/products will be built for;
2. Evaluate market/competitor status, industry/technology trend, customer requirements and RTM based on data analysis and customer study;
3. Define competitive portfolio/products with clear product positioning, design, specifications, features and customer benefits, and align with cross function team;
4. Work closely with Product operation and word-wide region team to build strong business case and get product approved for investment;
5. Deep engaged with project team to manage the virtual team making sure product will be delivered with high quality, competitive cost, Time-To-The Market with efficient complexity;
6. Clearly build and communicate product core selling points to marketing/region sales and customers;
7. Keep tracking product sales data/market and customer(internal/external) feedback and react quickly to improve prouct competitiveness in lifecycle;
8. Fupan the whole lifecycle experience and lesson learn for next gen product planning.
9. Deliver high quality product MRD, Disclosure, Product Change Requirements, marketing materials to back end and front end teams.
Job Requirement:
Basic requirement:
1. 6+ years work experience in PC industry in portfolio planning or product management area, with To-C or To-B or industry vertical space experience as a plus;
2. Fluent English speaking and writing capabilities for international communication
3. Bachelor’s degree in engineering or computer science or related; an MBA or equivalent is preferred.
