Description and Requirements

Job Summary
As an OTE Post at Lenovo Slovakia, you will play a crucial role in providing post-sales technical support and expertise for Lenovo's diverse product portfolio. You will be responsible for resolving complex technical issues, ensuring customer satisfaction, and contributing to the overall success of our service operations in Slovakia.

Job Responsibilities
* Provide expert-level technical support for Lenovo hardware and software products to customers via phone, email, and remote tools.
* Diagnose and troubleshoot complex technical problems, including hardware failures, software conflicts, network connectivity issues, and operating system errors.
* Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., engineering, product development) to escalate and resolve critical or unresolved issues.
* Document all support interactions, resolutions, and customer feedback accurately in the designated CRM system.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Lenovo's product line, technical specifications, and support procedures.
* Identify trends in customer issues and provide recommendations for product or service improvements.
* Participate in training sessions and knowledge-sharing initiatives to enhance personal and team technical expertise.
* Adhere to defined service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure timely and effective problem resolution.
* Proactively communicate with customers regarding the status of their support requests.

Job Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
* Proven experience in a technical support role, preferably within the IT hardware or consumer electronics industry.
* Strong understanding of PC hardware components, operating systems (Windows, Linux), and networking fundamentals.
* Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills with a methodical approach to troubleshooting.
* Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to non-technical users.
* Customer-focused attitude with a commitment to providing high-quality service.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Fluency in Slovak and English is required; additional European languages are a plus.
* Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar are highly desirable.

PAY TRANSPARENCY

The anticipated initial gross base salary range for this position is €17000–24860 per year. This range applies to the primary job location Slovakia and is determined using objective, non-discriminatory and gender-neutral criteria, including skills and relevant experience. Final compensation will be based on relevant experience, skills, and business considerations. 

Individuals may also be eligible for variable compensation (such as bonus or commission), depending on the role. The applicable variable pay model, eligibility, and target levels will be discussed during the recruitment process. 

In addition to base salary and any applicable variable compensation, Lenovo provides statutory remuneration components required by local law, as well as Lenovo's comprehensive benefits package supporting employee well-being, development, and equal opportunities. 

For roles open across multiple countries, local base salary ranges may vary based on market conditions, internal frameworks, and legal requirements. The relevant local range will be transparently communicated during the initial discussions.
