This organization joined Lenovo Enterprise Business Group in 2014 through the acquisition from IBM System x business, consisting of the full portfolio of key products including system management software, server firmware, converged and hyperconverged system, high performance computing, etc. SDC is leveraging its world-class technology edge and expanding the influence in China and WW enterprise business.

Lenovo xClarity is a comprehensive system management software for Lenovo enterprise products. An attractive position is now available for talented engineer with the opportunity working with the cutting-edge server technology and its system management software development. The role will be responsible for the design, development of the latest features for the Lenovo xClarity, including next generation server infrastructure.

Core requirements:

• Hands-on backend web development experience
• Proficient knowledge of a backend programming language(Python or C#) and an in-depth understanding of web development
• Knowledgeable of front-end technologies and platforms, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3
• Familiar with VMware or Microsoft environments is a big plus
• Bachelor degree in Computer Science and Electronic Engineering or equivalent. Master degree is preferred
• 1+ years SW development working experience

Nice to have:

• Server/Storage/Networking knowledge is a plus
• Familiar with both Windows and Linux development environment is preferred
• Understanding of Agile development process
• Experience of SW development in environment of Micro-Service, Docker, Kubernetes/K3S is a plus
• Good understanding of server-side CSS preprocessors
• Knowledge and experience in creating user authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
• Capability to integrate multiple data sources and databases into one system
• Proven experience managing of hosting environment, that includes database administration and scaling an application to support load changes
• Ability to setup, administer of backups, data migration, transformation, and scripting.
• Knowledgeable of OWASP security principles
• Understands “session management” in a server environment
• Experience in Agile development is preferred
• Smart, quick learner and strong analytical skills
• Excellent and professional communication skills; good command of English
