To maintain our leadership and compete in this aggressive marketplace, we are seeking to enhance our team with a Storage & I/O Architect. Responsibilities include innovative design, development, and validation of workstation storage and building block solutions such as networking, COM, PS/2, USB, Thunderbolt, graphics, audio, and other I/O. These HW solutions range from on-motherboard to add-in card solutions.

For this role you will be working with a combination of HW/SW architects to formulate storage and I/O building block solutions that provide optimal performance while managing cost and design constraints.

Basic Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering/Science, or equivalent
• 5+ years experience with hardware design/architect of storage & I/O devices and SW protocols
• PC architecture, storage architecture, network architecture
• Storage technology and form factors
• RAID storage protocols and configuration
• LAN/Wireless LAN/WAN standards (802.3, 802.11)
• Working knowledge of Workstation class graphics cards and applications
• Windows OS driver interoperability
• Linux OS driver interoperability (Red Hat, Debian, Ubuntu)
• Results oriented in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to multi-task
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Excellent presentation skills
• Technical support for internal customers
• Positive professional attitude with flexibility

Preferred Requirements

• Working knowledge of client remote management such as DASH, vPRO, BMC
• Executing and analyzing storage and network performance benchmarks
