Description and Requirements

  • Roles and responsibilities

  • Development and qualification of wireless modules for notebook PCs and tablet PCs.
  • Collaborates with module vendors on design, development and technical problem solving.
  • Collaborates with other internal teams including overseas, on design, development and technical problem solving.
  • Skilled in test and analysis methods, use of laboratory analysis equipment
  • Creates test plan / report for wireless device qualification
  • Develops and updates test procedures/criteria and maintain test tools wireless device qualification
  • Directs outsourcing test engineers for qualification test execution and problem analysis to resolve issues (review/approve/provide guidance, etc.)
  • Performs pre-qualification testing, design review, and critical qualification tests
  • Support Product Development to enable emerging wireless technologies with technical expertise
  • Manages Wireless Engineering Laboratory and operations, including maintenance and audit readiness
  • Publishes technical disclosures, white papers, and patents as appropriate
  • Report Qualification Status. Make an organized presentation for technical details
  • Support other work instructed by manager
