Description and Requirements

Job Overview: Responsible for thermal design, simulation, and test of Autonomous Driving/ADAS/In-Vehicle Infotainment compute projects.

Responsibilities and Duties:

 List the essential duties required to carry out this job.

  • Co-work with ME/EE/layout engineer to find out thermal design solution for Autonomous Driving/ADAS/In-Vehicle Infotainment compute products
  • Perform thermal simulation to review the potential thermal risk for major IC/components and guide mechanical design and PCBA layout
  • Co-work with ME to define heat dissipation material and process
  • Define/compile thermal test plan according to requirements, perform thermal test and output test report
  • Thermal design technology research, including competition analysis, new technology related study/test/application, etc.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or above, major in Thermal/ Mechanical engineering or related
  • Skilled with one of the CAD tools of ANSYS Fluent/ Icepak, FloTHERM, etc.
  • Knowledge of the thermal property of common materials, like metal, etc.
  • Work in a self-motivating way and autonomously find correct direction to solve problems
  • Preferably experience with structure analysis
