Area of focus: Information Technology (eCommerce)
Description:
Information technology professional are responsible for a variety of assignments within an eCommerce division of Lenovo (focus on Large Enterprise). The eCommerce Capabilities project team performs Portfolio Management, Program Management, and/or Project Management to provide requisite operations and support.
Web Builders work closely with the Project Managers to support new capabilities, build, and update content of our eCommerce websites. Candidate should be able to think independently, take direction, meet deadlines, and work successfully in a matrix organization.
Employees within this designated project team, provides:
- Data analyses related to configuration and order management
- Aligning operations support
- Monitor, manage, and control order support; and
- Reports to all requisite management to fulfill the program requirements oversight of quality assurance.
Duties:
Perform websites/content builds which consist of but not limited to:
- Enabling/Disable key functions Organizing customer sites hierarchies Updating web content verbiage
- Document status of build project daily / weekly for Management reporting
- Participate in website enablement, user assisted testing and quality assurance testing
- Manage enablement schedule; deliver websites on time for testing and verification
- Processing and analyzing product data using eCommerce tools.
- Reviewing and analyzing data via quality control processes for anomalies or other issues which could compromise product functionality
- Documenting issues, resolutions and programming steps pertaining to the implementation process and product/order data
- Coordinate with other internal and external organizations to ensure timely issue resolution
- Support organization as functional SME for impact and summarizing issues
- Develops and maintains records, prepares reports, and composes correspondence relative to th work.
Working conditions:
- Standard 9-5 M-F work schedule with a combination of in-person (office) and remote (work from home).
- Non-standard office hours may be requested. Must be able to work a flexible day/night/weekend schedule.
- Affectively work during hours conducive to teams located in China, US, Brazil, Argentina, and Eastern Europe.
Qualifications:
Thorough knowledge of quality assurance principles, concepts, and practices.

Education & Experience:
- Possession of a bachelor’s degree with no less than 21 semester (32 term) credits in one or a combination of the following: business administration, computer science, data processing, computer information systems, or information assurance.
- 1-2 years of experience in eCommerce or web experience (general or operational)
Highly desirable skills:
- Solid understanding of business process methodology and rules
- Solid understanding of web-related technologies (non-technical; awareness only)
- Ability to manage multiple project areas including troubleshooting and resolving production-related issues, reporting and documentation
