Description and Requirements

Are you an experienced project manager looking to make an impact in the web space? Our World Wide eCommerce Marketing team is looking for a Strategic Project Manager for Web Campaigns! What you’ll do

As a Web Project Manager your role is to assess new requests and manage the development of global web projects. You'll need to understand web best practices and have experience developing content recommendations based on input from stakeholders across different business units within Lenovo. Your role is to coordinate, evaluate scope, and be accountable for the successful creation of strategic web campaigns and special projects.  You’ll work cross-functionally with other members of our eComm, marketing, brand, and product teams to drive transparency and alignment while building strong cross-org relationships. Through close interaction with stakeholders, you’ll seek to understand the project requirements, set KPIs, measurements and goals, serve as a web subject matter expert and provide strategic recommendations for best practices based on our overall strategy. With “customer-first” in mind, you will determine and provide recommendations on how the project fits in the overall customer journey. You will develop timelines and coordinate across web strategy and creative team members, stakeholders, agencies (as needed), and web content partners to deploy web pages across the globe. You will be responsible for on-time delivery of web pages that meet or exceed expectations.



Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Primary responsibilities will include end-to-end project management: initial kickoff discussions, requirements gathering, design & development oversight, testing, and communications with stakeholder and leadership through launch process.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to fully understand and document purpose, requirements and dates and cascade among project team members.
  • Define and gather required assets to meet requirements and drive closure by deadlines.
  • Engage with appropriate teams to ensure alignment with brand messaging and visual identity.
  • Develop timelines and drive reviews and approvals with stakeholders.
  • Communicate and coordinate plans with other eComm marketing teams.
  • Work with the analytics team to measure and report campaigns effectiveness and optimize towards performance.
  • Provide recommendations based on our overall strategy and KPIs of each request


Qualifications 


Basic 

  • 5+ years of experience in project/ program management
  • Web experience
  • Marketing, specifically eCommerce marketing knowledge
  • Self-starter with ability to meet aggressive deadlines

Preferred
  • Experience in marketing, brand and/or content focus
  • Excellent project management skills and management of multiple concurrent projects
  • Experience working with multiple cross-functional stakeholders
  • Excellent communications and diplomacy skills
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills both written and oral ability to present updates and status at face-to-face or virtual meetings
  • Familiarity with web best practices
  • Experience with Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, Teams and Outlook
  • Experience working with global teams
  • Attention to detail while also being able to look at things holistically from overall perspective
  • Passionate about technology and web experience; keeps abreast of industry trends
  • Ability to listen, influence and manage diverse points of view
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Experience with web strategy
  • Experience with CMS
  • Experience with JIRA
