Lenovo is going through a deep transformation to become a key provider of solutions that deliver the outcomes to solve our customer’s most pressing business challenges. Combining existing components of our hardware-, software and services-portfolio with potentially newly developed components (internally or partnered) is our recipe for success. Services are the glue that brings these solutions to life.
As a business development manager for SSG solutions you will be responsible for:
- Identifying key growth opportunities in vertical markets (industries) or for horizontally applicable solutions based on existing and new solution offerings
- Combining existing offering components in the service and software area with any type of hardware to deliver superior value to our clients
- Develop new offerings to cater for special market and customer requirements
- Closely liaising with Lenovo SSGs offering development, service delivery and marketing teams to define powerful & differentiated solution offerings
- Developing and implementing go to market strategies for selling these solutions (both direct and indirect)
- Identify critical partners to strengthen our offering portfolio but also our ability to execute
- Building subject matter expertise and share with the wider services & solution-sales community
- Helping to bring new solutions like AR/VR enabled classrooms or smart building solutions to market across EMEA
- Winning in the marketplace together with the powerful Lenovo sales-team both inside SSG but also in the wider sales-community
The role reports into the regional Solution & Services Sales leader.
Key requirements are:
- 5+ years of experience of business development in a multinational company
- Proven track-record of developing and driving sales-programs across a multi-faceted sales organization
- Ability to translate components into a wider solution and to articulate the customer value
- Display solution selling mindset
- Experience leading large deals especially also complex E2E client solutions
- Knowledge of market landscape, competitive and channel partners´ solutions and capabilities
- Understanding of partner ecosystems and the ability to leverage partner solutions to solve customer needs.
- Fluent English is a requirement
