We are looking for a GDPS System Administrator to join our team. You will report to GDPS Enterprise Architecture Manager, based in the US.
Job Responsibilities:
- You will maintain computer networks including servers, switches, VPNs, routers and other physical hardware
- Work with external customers in setup and troubleshooting of VPN and network connectivity into Lenovo facilities
- You will work with various ITC teams globally to support their servers and network
- You will work with corporate security teams to ensure server infrastructures meet security requirements
- You will work with various teams in different geographies to gather requirements on server and network upgrades
- We are looking for someone who is an initiative/self-starter
Job Skills & Qualifications:
- Ability to configure, deploy and troubleshoot routers, switches, servers, and firewalls in a LAN, VLAN and WAN environment
- Experience with Cisco, FortiGate, Netgear and other network hardware platforms
- Experience with IPSEC Site-to-Site VPN tunneling in a multivendor environment
- Experience in a virtualized environment including VMware vCenter, ESXi and Nutanix
- Experience with administration of a Windows Server environment including Active Directory, GPO, DNS, DHCP
- Experience with storage administration including NetApp and similar NAS systems.
- Experience with scripting and automation including PowerShell
- Experience with design and implementation of complex server and network systems
- Experience working with corporate security teams and hardening of systems to meet security requirements
- AWS experience particularly in EC2/S3/CloudForm
- Kubernetes/Docker/Other containerization experience
- VMWare NSX administration experience
- Basic Linux system administration
