■Abstract - A project leader for software for Embedded Controller that help differentiate NECPC LAVIE hardware products. ■About Organization - Organization Name: HW Design Team - Report to : 1 - Subordinates : 6 - Number of Peers (excluding contractors): 6 The HW Design Team is developing NEC brand notebook PCs (including 2-in1 and convertible) at the Yonezawa Plant. This team is in charge of electrical design & embedded SW(BIOS/EC) of PC motherboard and design work of the entire PC system in collaboration with other teams. ■Roles and responsibilities - Lead a software development for Embedded Controller - Make a plan for development and track status to align with product schedule - Understands the market/customer requirements properly and interprets them in architect/high level design of embedded SW(BIOS/EC) for motherboard of PCs - Lead detailed functional design of embedded SW(BIOS/EC) and define technical spec.(software IF & user IF)  - Leads actually performs the debugging and evaluation of their embedded SW(BIOS/EC) - Lead and/or actually performs problem resolution - Communicates with HW design team to optimize motherboard design - Communicates with OS & Application team to optimize SW IF & User IF of embedded SW(BIOS/EC) - Communicates with Device team to optimize the implementation of subsystems from embedded SW point view - Communicate with Worldwide NECPC development team and external ODM companies to support their development activities - Report the development status to the project manager and the people manager ■Key Interaction with: -In-house: Planning department, Production department, Quality Assurance Department -Outside the company: ODM, SW Vendor, Chipset vender   ■概要 - NECPC LAVIE製品に付加価値を与えるエンベデットコントローラーのソフトウェア開発のプロジェクトをリードしていただきます ■組織について - Organization Name: HW Design Team - Report to : 1 - Subordinates : 6 - Number of Peers (excluding contractors): 6 HW デザインチームは、米沢事業場でNEC ブランドのノートブックPC(2-in1やコンバーチブルを含む)の開発を行っています。ノートブックPCのマザーボードの電気設計および組み込みソフトウェアの設計、他のチームと協業してPCシステム全体の設計業務を担当するチームです ■職務内容 - エンベデットソフトウェア開発プロジェクトをリードする - プロジェクトのスケジュールに則った開発計画を立て、進捗を管理する - お客様やマーケティング部門からの要件を適切に理解し、パーソナルコンピュータの組み込みソフトウェアの設計を行う - ソフトウェアの機能設計(ソフトウェア I/F、ユーザI/F)、詳細設計を行い、技術仕様書を作成する - 単体テストの実施、または社外開発委託チームへの指示を行なう - NECPCのHW開発チームと協業して組み込みソフトウェアの最適化を行う - NECPCのソフトウェア（OS,アプリケーション）チームと協業してソフトウェア I/F、ユーザI/Fの最適化を行う - NECPC社外の技術者と協業し、組み込みソフトウェアの最適化を行う - 海外のNECPC開発チームや社外の開発委託チームと協業し、NECPCの開発業務をサポートする - プロジェクトマネジャー・ピープルマネジャーに対して、開発状況の報告を行なう ■Key Interaction with: - 社内：企画部門、生産部門、品質保証部門 - 社外：ODM、S/W Vendor、Chipset Vendor Must Have - essential - 5+ year experience in professional software development - Experience in leading a project to ship a software product in the market - Experience in SW Programing and Analysis with debugger - Communication skills in Business English (TOEIC score 500+) - Strong communication and presentation skills - ５年以上のソフトウェア開発実務経験 - プロジェクトリードとしてソフトウェアを顧客にリリースされた経験 - デバッグツール(デバッガ)を用いたソフトウェア解析経験を有する - 一般的な会話が可能な英語力 （目安：TOEIC 500点以上） - 平均以上のコミュニケーション・プレゼンテーション能力 Good to have - desirable - Experience in PC embedded SW design & development more than 7 years - Development experience of C, C++ and SW on Windows - Project management in software development - Understanding PC architecture - Understanding Windows architecture - Work experience at oversea - パーソナルコンピュータのファームウェアまたはソフトウェアの設計・開発の経験が7年以上 - C、C++などを使用したソフトウェア開発業務の経験が5年以上ある - PCアーキテクチャの理解 - Windows アーキテクチャの理解 - 海外勤務または出張でODMと協働経験
