Description and Requirements

Job Description (English)
  • Install, maintain and monitor Antivirus and other modules of Symantec
  • Manage and remediate infection and intrusion events on servers and end user workstation
  • Assess Symantec installation for improvements and enhancements
  • Provide client with policy guidance on deploying, configuring and upgrading system and Antivirus agent
  • Implement best security practices for Endpoint security toolsets
  • Perform Malware Analysis for potential threats
  • Troubleshoot issues and provide ad-hoc support for deployed AV solution
  • Provide support to resolve complex, technical customer problems
  • Effectively communicate status to your manager
  • Documentation of trouble ticket resolution using ITSM toolset
  • Update system and process documentation and user guides as needed
  • Develop Antivirus Infrastructure maintenance including Build, Run and Support Plan
  • Coordinate and implement complex AV/ APT policy changes within specified change windows
  • Where necessary, liaise and work with Professional Services Engineers and Solutions Architects around client AV projects and deployments
  • Where appropriate, use lab equipment and resources to attempt to recreate client incidents and undertake fault simulation activities. 
  • Maintain detailed knowledge of the client’s environment (s), where applicable, by maintaining and updating relevant documentation such as AV Network Diagrams, Configuration Databases along with process and procedural documentation.
