Description and Requirements

Job Description (English)
  • お客様やマーケティング部門からの要件を適切に理解し、技術仕様書を作成する
  • 作成した仕様書を元に、ソフトウエア開発部門や外部サプライヤと協業して機能実装を主導する
  • 次世代のプラットフォームや主要コンポーネント（特にUSB-C, Thunderbolt関連）の仕様を理解し、ドッキングステーションやUSB-Cハブなどの周辺機器との組み合わせによる新機能の検討・基本設計・実装を行う
  • 次世代システムに対しての新機能、特にUSB-C/Thunderbolt関連について企画・立案し、ソフトウエア開発部門や外部サプライヤと協業して実装を行う
  • 技術仕様書に基づき、ハードウエアの詳細設計(回路図・基板レイアウト・配線等)を行なう
  • 問題が報告された場合に、デバッグを行ない、問題の修正を行なう。特にドッキングステーション、USB-Cハブなどとの周辺機器との相互接続性問題の解析を行う
  • 単体テストの実施、または社外開発パートナーへの指示を行なう
  • 開発・量産開始時における、中国の製造工場における現地技術サポートを行う
  • ThinkPadの機構設計チームと協業して、マザーボードの外形およびコンポーネント配置の最適化を行う
  • 購買技術チームと協業して、サブシステム実装の最適化を行う
  • 製品保証、製品技術部門とコミュニケーションをとり、問題状況の把握・報告、問題修正に関する交渉を行なう
  • 海外のThinkPad開発チームやレノボ社外の開発パートナーと協業し、ThinkPadの開発業務をサポートする
  • US, 日本などのワールドワイド技術サプライヤーとの協業を行う
  • プロジェクトマネジャー・ピープルマネジャーに対して、開発状況の報告を行なう
